Teaching Interpersonal Skills to My Daughter

Entrepreneurship Competencies and Competitive Advantage of Thai SMEsIt isn’t always easy to teach Interpersonal Skill Kids can use. Sometimes a parent really has to try hard to make sure that their child gains these skills, and sometimes the child is not so receptive to the lessons being taught. I have found some wonderful information that has really helped me to develop my child’s interpersonal skill set. I now constantly give my child opportunities to get in touch with her own feelings. I ask her a lot of questions, and encourage her to come to me when she is feeling happy, sad, angry, or upset.

I also encourage her to write her feelings down, and even create poems, songs or stories about how she is feeling. I know that if my child can understand her own feelings, she will be able to express them effectively and relate to the feelings that others are expressing too. This is why teaching her these skills is so important, so I will continue to put a lot of focus in to it.
